UPDATED Second Chapter Online Quiz in aid of Children in Need - Thursday 16th November 2023

Updated: Nov 17, 2023

By Heather McKinlay

UPDATE: A huge thank you to all our friends, family and clients who donated and took part in our quiz last night in aid of Children in Need! We raised a massive £275 for a very worthy cause.

Back by Popular Demand - the Second Chapter Online Quiz! On Thursday 16th November the team here at Second Chapter will be hosting an online quiz for Children in Need.

The event takes place ahead of the annual Children in Need event, which will be held on Friday 17th November. The charity funds thousands of charities and projects in every corner of the UK, that support children and young people to feel and be safer, have improved mental health and wellbeing, form better, more positive relationships and be given more equal opportunities to flourish.

We always try to put people at the heart of what we do, and holding a quiz for Children in Need is a brilliant opportunity to reflect that. It’s the perfect combination of bringing people together for a bit of fun, while raising money to help young people across the country who are in need of support.

This is only the second event of its kind that we have held, our previous online quiz was in aid of Comic Relief and raised an amazing £170. As before, we will be putting forward a prize for the winning team, so that all the money donated for the event goes directly to Children in Need.

If you are interested in donating or signing up for the quiz please do so via our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/page/secondchapterquiz

You can join the quiz as a team of up to 5 people, and the suggested donation is £5 per team.

When you make your donation, please select the option to share your contact details so that we are able to send you the link and participation details. We won't use your contact details for any other purpose.

We’re fundraising for Children in Need because...

They believe that every child should have the chance to thrive and be the best they can be. They are committed to funding grassroot organisations and project workers across the UK that provide the vital positive relationships children need to help them navigate the challenges in their lives.

Don’t forget to tick the Gift Aid option, if you can, so Children in Need can claim an extra 25% from the government.

From us and everyone at Children in Need, thank you.
